News from one of 26 North Yachts’ favorite Top Ten Boat Manufacturers and one of our favorite vessels came out recently. Namely, Hargrave recently launched another 101 RPH. We have covered news on this must-watch model in the past.
Hargrave Custom Yachts recently launched the new 101 RPH with its beautiful custom interiors created by Yacht Interiors by Shelley. Headroom of 7’2” in the vessel is appealing to yachtsmen and crew taller in stature while the shorter set can still enjoy the lightness and openness created by the expanded vertical space. Look for exquisite hardwoods like high gloss walnut, detailed inlays, modern interior furnishings, oversized windows, and portholes allowing natural light and views throughout.
The Hargrave 101 RPH features a fabulous aft deck with generous built-in seating with storage and a large table with custom teak inlay top. The top can move forward and aft for easy access to seating and up and down from dining to cocktails! An aft deck wet bar with refrigeration and storage makes entertaining convenient from this location without traipsing into the main salon.
The Hargrave 101 RPH main salon is spectacular with ample seating options and a spacious feel. Here there is another convenient bar inside. The dining area allows entertaining from two to eight with plenty of storage for china, glasses, and linens in convenient cabinets port and starboard. Sliding pocket doors to the port and starboard hallways provide privacy from the galley forward, steps to the pilot house, and lower accommodations.
Like throughout, the country kitchen boasts lots of natural light from large windows, in addition to features such as granite counter tops, teak hardwood floors, and gloss walnut walls and cabinetry. There is a well-appointed day head on this deck, too, with marble counter tops and floor and mirrored ceiling.
The vessel houses four guest staterooms and crew quarters for three. The master is full beam and accommodates a king bed. Comfortable accommodation for couples come courtesy of his and her heads (with shared frameless glass enclosed shower) and his and her walk-in closets. Gloss walnut and gloss elm burl accents grace these quarters.
A private VIP forward and down a few stairs from the galley can also accommodate a king-sized bed in the berth. It also features his and her closets and en suite head with two sinks. The port guest stateroom has a queen berth, plenty of storage, cedar lined closet, and en suite head. Twin berths are convertible to a queen bed in the starboard guest stateroom. Crew quarters contain a captain’s cabin with en suite head and double berth and two crew cabins with shared head.
The flybridge boasts a wet bar with bar stools and granite marble counter tops, custom seating for lounging, barbecue grill, hot tub, and hot tub bar with more bar stools.
Hargrave’s 101 Raised Pilothouse is a semi-displacement design powered by twin 1,700-hp Caterpillar C-32s that can top 21 knots (cruising at 18 knots). She has a 21’ beam and 5’10” draft and a state-of-the-art electronics package.
Hargrave prides itself that no two Hargrave yachts are alike. The company points out that their custom yachts are different when they are new and are thus different in the resale market allowing for more choice and variety.
