Our HD video tour highlights classic DIANE, a 1958 Burger 75 raised pilothouse motoryacht with semi-displacement steel hull featuring 3 staterooms, a 5’ draft and 17′8” beam. She is one of the oldest and most exquisite Burgers ever built, displaying old world charm that’s been carefully nurtured with a complete refit in 2004. DIANE is the Aphrodite of all Burgers ever built.

SNAPSHOT

A piece of yachting history and an example of one of America’s finest yachts built in her time, DIANE displays classic old charm from the early days of pleasure boating. An original Jack Hargrave design, she has been lovingly cared for over the recent years, undergoing a complete refit in 2004 with an owner-operator in mind. Modern electronics were added to the salon and wheelhouse. Aft crew quarters were converted into a third stateroom, and the galley and dining area were combined to keep the cook with the guests. The original General Motors diesels remain, however the generators and other ancillary equipment have been upgraded. DIANE’s owner sponsored a vintage weekend at Ocean Reef Club in 2011 where DIANE won the Best Restoration award.
