The very popular Progressive Miami International Boat Show is just around the corner. Not to be confused with “Yachts Miami Beach,” which is held the same weekend, the 2017 edition of the Miami International Boat Show promises to be even bigger and better than ever!
Several new luxury yachts are slated to make their debut at the show, which runs February 16-20, at Miami Marine Stadium Park and Basin, on Virginia Key. Among the yachts that will make their “coming out” appearances are Australian builder Riviera Yachts 4800 Sport Yacht and the 575 SUV.
It is the debut of yachts like these two that prompted show organizes to create a new and enhanced “VIP experience.” “We’re taking our VIP experience to the next level — providing bespoke services and experiences for a discerning clientele in a way we’ve not done before,” said, National Marine Manufacturers Association vice president of shows and trade events, Jennifer Thompson, speaking to industry magazine, Trade Only Today.
New Yachts By the Dozens
Thompson said that it was the deep-water basin and docks at the Miami Marine Stadium that attracted Riviera to debut the 4800 Sports Yacht and the 575 SUV at the Miami boat show. “Our stunning red-carpet showcase in Miami will demonstrate how we continue to enhance the fun and lifestyle fulfillment of our growing global Riviera family of discerning luxury motoryacht owners,” said Chris McCafferty, the U.S.-based international sales director for Riviera.
But Riviera is not the only yacht maker to understand the advantage of debuting at Miami International Boat Show. The 2017 show will feature over 100 new yachts, including dozens of debuts, from brands that include Tiara, Prestige, Carver, Beneteau, Sabre, Jupiter, Sea Ray, Viking, Marlow Yachts, Marquis Yachts, Bavaria Yachts and Azimut.
