One of the best things about chartering a motor yacht, is that you can go just about anywhere. Where to go on a yacht charter is limited only by your time, your budget, and the kind of boating experience you want to have.

Italy’s Amalfi Coast – From Naples to Positano and the legendary island of Capri, Italy’s Amalfi Coast is a yacht charter destination filled with striking harbors and historic sites. Drawing people to its shores since the time of the Caesars, this charming stretch of the Italian coastline is synonymous with beauty, history, and romanticism.
The Lesser Antilles – Halfway down the eastern Caribbean, you’ll find the Leeward Islands, also known as the Lesser Antilles. The island chain consists of names that have defined “tropical paradise,” such as St Bart’s, St Maartin, Antigua, Montserrat and Guadeloupe. On a yacht charter through the Leeward Islands you can experience it all, from powdery white sand beaches, to exotic cuisine and outrageous nightlife.
The French Riviera – What list of places to see, and be seen on a luxury motor yacht could possibly be complete without including the French Riviera? The Côte d’Azur is “ground zero” for the superyacht culture and lifestyle, and is home to such international events such as Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix, which make it one of the world’s most popular areas for yacht charters.
Bermuda – Bermuda is soon to be known for more than shorts and great golf resorts. Always a popular destination for boaters, it is increasingly one of the places “to be” for high end yacht charters, as the island was recently named the host island for the next America’s Cup in 2017.
Exumas and The Bahamas – Just a hop, skip and a jump from South Florida, the Bahamas are a well-known yacht charter destination. Forget the cruise ships, the only way to really experience all of the Bahamas, from Nassau to the Exumas Archipelago, is from your own private yacht.
Newport, Rhode Island – The coastal town of Newport, Rhode Island has been synonymous with sailing for centuries, but it is a great summer destination for motor yachts as well. Yacht charters in and around Newport include not only the Newport area with its impressive array of mansions, but also exclusive vacation spots such as Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.
The Azores – The Azores are an autonomous group of islands forming an archipelago off the coast of Portugal. It is an ideal summer charter location, but thanks to the Gulf Stream, has mild weather year round. From volcanoes, to beaches, to preserved wetlands, and home to about 1/3 of the world’s species of whales, the Azores are a little known paradise, and one experienced best from a yacht.
Maine – Maine may not pop into your mind when you think of exotic locales for a private yacht charter, however, its hard to imagine a better place to enjoy a summer charter in the Northeast US. Maine has everything you could hope for in a New England Yacht charter destination, from quaint fishing villages, to a jumping off point for cruising to more remote out-islands.
The Galapagos – Channel your inner Charles Darwin on a yacht charter to the Galapagos Islands. Located about 600 miles west of Ecuador, if encounters with nature is what you want in a yacht charter, we would be hard pressed to find any better destination than Galapagos.
Alaska – Can you possibly imagine a richer, or more amazing experience than lounging in the hot tub on the sundeck of your private yacht charter, sipping champagne while cruising past glaciers that are letting lose huge chunks of blue ice as if it is being sliced off by the hand of God? That is just one of the incomparable things you can experience during a yacht charter in Alaska.
