Ft. Lauderdale, FL – 26 North Yachts, a leading Yacht Brokerage firm, has hired new Sales Executives, Matt Stone, David Ingram and Jackson Willet. All bring years of industry experience to the table. The company has also hired Will Synder as Director of Charter, and appointed long-time operations manager, Ryan Craft to Chief Operating Officer of independent subsidiary, Florida Yacht Management.

The latest hires, and restructuring, are reflective of a new and innovative business model that has been designed to remove all of the hassles of purchasing and owning a luxury motor yacht.

Known as On Demand Yachting, the unique approach combines yacht sales, yacht management, and yacht charters all under a single roof. While it is not uncommon to see yacht sellers who offer one, or more, of these “after-market” services, “Our approach is unique in that we offer an integrative model, in which all three aspects of yacht ownership work together, to the benefit of the owner,” says Mike Carlson, Founder, 26 North Yachts.

Each leg of the triangle, if you will, is run as an independent business, which means the yacht owner can come into the equation at any point, and yet still benefit from access to the other two.

“If you are interested in buying a yacht, and want to offset the expenses by putting her in short-term charters, we can show you how to do that, by signing up with our charter fleet. If you already own a boat, you can sign her up for chartering, or for management. If you sign up for a management package, you may want to include charter down the line, to offset expenses, or to showcase your boat when it becomes time to sell,” says Nicholas Scherb, Co-founder 26 North Yachts.

While each aspect is run independently, that is all seamless to the yacht owner, who will coordinate everything through his or her own point person, or “vessel concierge,” which is something else that is unique in the marine industry.
