Offer has been an innovator and visionary in the industry since the 1970s, bringing his mantra of “experience matters” to our growing community of buyers and sellers. His knowledge, undoubtedly, will deliver a more complete package to a sale or purchase.
Offer caught the yachting bug early on the waters of Michigan, driving a boat before he could drive a car. A family affair, his dad’s cousin was vice president and treasurer of the original Sea Ray Boats. Instead of toys under his bed, there was a collection of yachting magazines and brochures, including Hatteras’ original 50’ Motoryacht with the first standup engine room—quite impactful to this passionate 12-year-old. Innovation also ran in the family—his grandfather was Henry Ford’s chief electrical engineer and his brother was chief engineer for General Dynamic’s tank division.
Offer has singlehandedly influenced many firsts in the yachting industry—including the brokerage display of what is now known as the Miami Beach Brokerage Yacht Show. He also pioneered the first ever transatlantic brokerage office in Monaco and assisted Monaco in organizing their first prestigious yacht show in 1991. Offer’s 37 years in the marine industry include experience in sales, charter, marketing, design and construction of yachts sized from 35’ to 250’ with a focus on larger and luxury megayachts. Offer was most recently a senior broker at Luke Brown Yachts, receiving accolades for his marketing and negotiating skills, thoroughness, industry insight, professionalism, intuitive approach and excellent ability to handle complex deals. His recommendations are reflected in countless letters from clients, major yacht builders and even co-brokers testifying to his dedication.
