The sales report covers more than 60 worldwide luxury yacht brokerage houses and lists 26 North Yachts as the second highest earning brokerage house for the first half of 2013 with almost $26 million in sales. 26 North Yacht owners Mike Carslon and Nicholas Scherb are forecasting similar sales in the second half of 2013. “We are not surprised by the sales results,” said Carlson. “We are using proprietary industry data, online tools and innovative marketing approaches to speed up the sales cycle, resulting in a quicker sale.

Boat owners no longer need to expect a 1-to- 2-year wait period to sell their boats.” In addition to fresh marketing efforts, the boutique brokerage house focuses its energy in the niche market of motor yachts in the 70- to 140-foot range. “We live and breathe our market. There isn’t a 70 to 140 foot yacht available for sale that we haven’t been through,” says Scherb. “We know our strengths and will continue to focus on this area of the market.”

In a short time, 26 North Yachts has reached a global audience, selling yachts to clientele from the U.S. and Latin America to New Zealand and the Middle East.Other recent achievements by 26 North Yachts include the sale of a 140-foot 2003 Feadship Andiamo, a 76-foot Rayburn and a 110-foot Evolve that was under contract within two days after showing it at the Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show.
