About Northcoast Yachts

Founder of Seattle-based Yachtfish Marine, Stephen Yadvish purchased Northcoast Yachts’ assets and reopened the company in 2003. Yadvish had designed and built megayachts, high tech maxi boats, and high performance speedboats during his career to that point. In 2011, Northcoast announced an anticipated move from Port of Tacoma to Port Orchard, seeking a larger, more permanent home for its facilities. Northcoast’s production facility can accommodate work on four yachts up to 130 feet. Focusing on traditional, yet modern concepts, Northcoast designer Paul Fredrickson designs for longevity.

The Northcoast 87 motoryacht combines the finest in marine construction, uncompromising quality, and value in this all composite fiberglass vessel built to the same standards as larger yachts in Northcoast’s fleet. A 3,000 gallon fuel capacity enables her to voyage 1,500 miles.

In 2010, Northcoast Yachts launched a most luxurious 125-foot semi-displacement superyacht on spec with top speeds of 22 knots. Housing five staterooms and three crew cabins in a sleek, futuristic design, the vessel boasts a raised pilothouse and an expansive interior created by large windows, open furniture arrangement, and nine-foot ceilings in the mid-lounge area. The luxury motoryacht also flaunts Italian onyx, leather floors made from repurposed car seats, marble sinks, and a floating steel spiral staircase. Northcoast also has a 44-meter (144-foot) motoryacht currently under development.

Other notable Northcoast Yachts include “Seychelle,” “Lady Val,” and “Life’s Finest Touch II.” A Northcoast 111, “Seychelle” features five owner/guest staterooms, all en suite and equipped with queen beds. She enjoys a 24’9” beam, enabling a spacious layout for maximum comfort, complemented by a honey oak interior and neutral fabrics and treatments. The fore deck includes a hot tub. “Lady Val,” a composite Northcoast 95 completed in 2001, features a reasonably shallow draft of 6.46 feet. She comfortably holds eight guest onboard, in addition to seven crew
