Il Bar and Il Ristorante, offer seating indoors and outdoors into the garden. Il Bar offers the most generous Aperitivo where guests can enjoy complimentary snacks from charcuterie & cheeses to pastas and risottos. Il Ristorante with intriguing variations of classic Italian dishes with a contemporary twist, such as its celebrated spaghetti with simple tomato sauce, goat cheese and lemon peel paired with an extensive wine collection have been the favorite of the local Milanese and its visitors. The newly renovated Bulgari Spa is sensational, with a lap pool entered via four gold steps, emerald colored Turkish Steam Bath and sauna are lit by hundreds of suspended Bulgari Green Tea scented candles. Jacuzzis and sunbeds are open year round under a glass veranda overlooking the garden. The design elsewhere is equally impressive. In the main lounge an austere black-marble floor and white walls are offset by an open fire, rows of books and contemporary art; in the bedrooms, a cozy scheme of natural browns, beige and black complement light oak floors, Travertine marble baths and mosaic-lined showers. Rooms begin at 425 sq. ft. with lots of natural lighting. Attention to detail is superb from the Tivoli radios, movable & stylish flat-screen Bang & Olufsen televisions, to the generous Bulgari signature Green Tea amenties inclusing candles. The focus on the garden views from the frech floor to celing windows and juliet balconies in the garden facing rooms are magnificent. Comfort is top priority in the rooms. The large windows open out onto teak balconies overlooking the garden in some rooms and suites. The daylight draws attention to the harmony of the colors and materials inside. The fabrics are in tones of light brown and grey, which complement the English oak flooring and highlight the black furnishings. A large space is dedicated to the bathroom, which is separated from the bedroom by a thick bronze net which creates unexpected transparencies. The black marble from Zimbabwe adds to the sophistication and suggestively plays with the warm tones of the Navona travertine. Luxury and comfort perfectly embrace in the eleven suites and in the Bulgari Suite, thanks to the combination of contemporary design and avant-garde details. The bathrooms have the most precious of baths, entirely carved into a block of Turkish Bihara stone. The Bulgari Suite, with an imposing Brera stone fireplace, guarantees a welcoming and refined atmosphere, while the large terrace in teak offers a privileged view onto the garden. For those who want to splash out, there are Ferraris to hire, personal shoppers and trips across Lake Como in Riva motorboats. Most recent guest room renovation is in April 2014 and the Spa renovation was completed in September 2014. On a private street between Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, La Scala, and the Accademia di Brera, in a tastefully renovated 18th-century Milanese palazzo, is the Bulgari Hotel Milano.
