Headquartered in Avigliana, Torino, Italy, Azimut Yachts is truly global, serving customers in over 130 sites worldwide. Azimut Yachts was founded in 1969 by Paolo Vitelli and rapidly developed a solid reputation in the pleasure boating niche. In 1985, Azimut took over Benetti Brothers, known for their classic lines and luxurious yachting interiors and strategically launched about 60 different yacht models over the next two decades.
The Azimut Flybridge Collection offers an extensive range of innovative models from the Azimut 40 to the Azimut 100 Leonardo, and one of their newest, the very popular, Azimut 72. Not satisfied to simply cruise on the success of their Flybridge line, for 2017, the Italian yacht maker has announced the introduction of their first “Weekender” yacht.
Dubbed the Verve 40 Weekender, the first “all Italian,” weekender was launched just before the end of 2016, and it is poised to take the “walk around” market by storm.

The Azimut Verve 40 Weekender
According to Azimut, this unique outboard yacht is designed to be, “more sophisticated than a walk around, more stylish than a center console, and more spacious and sexy, than a typical day cruiser.” By all accounts the Azimut Verve 40 has achieved those goals and more!
While an “entry level” sports yacht, the Verve 40 has a surprising amount of space for socializing on the main deck, as well as plenty of space down below.
The Main Deck provides everything you and your guests could desire for a great day out on the water. The cockpit sports an L-shaped sofa arrangement that can, also be reconfigured into a “C” arrangement by simply sliding the rear-facing sofa backwards.
That kind of “transformation,” is the way this sporty weekender innovatively maximizes the use of her spaces. There is also an electrically operated foldaway dining table, which means that the entire area can also be transformed into a roomy sunbed. On the Main Deck you will also find a mobile bar, a large fridge, an icemaker, a double barbeque and an optional wine cooler.
Forward you will find a classic sunbed with reclining backrests as well as a forward-facing sofa with plenty of under seat storage space. On the lower deck there is a central area with a dinette table and galley. There is a spacious single cabin and a separate head. If necessary, the dinette area can be converted to provide another bed for additional guests.
Owing to the inspiration of a sleek Italian roadster, the steering console echoes automotive design, and features all digital instruments. The helm seats are extremely comfortable and supportive, delivering unparalleled ergonomics and safety even at high speeds of up to 44 knots, courtesy of the three 350hp Mercury Verado outboard engines.
