Blog | Horizon E88 and Horizon RP110 Wow U.S. Buyers

As of early 2013, Horizon Yacht reported that it had 15 motoryacht projects underway with 6 yachts delivered over 80 feet; it anticipated another 6 motoryacht deliveries in the first quarter of 2013.
Since inception, Horizon has delivered over 640 yachts for a total length of 26,000 feet, and 120 of those yachts have been over 80 feet.
“We expect to see continued sales and growth this spring season, with a number of global markets picking up in interest and client activity,” said Horizon Yachts.
26 North Yachts has identified the Horizon E88 and RP110, as particularly attractive to the U.S. market, showing great value and superlative design and engineering features.
The Horizon RP110, for instance, features light-weight structural construction processes, offering reduced weight and draft, increased speed and a lower center of gravity for high speed cruising and comfort. These manufacturing improvements are a function of their impressive facilities which we personally toured a few months ago, and confirm Horizon Yacht’s growing pedigree as a first-rate motoryacht builder.
Horizon Yachts has been paying special attention to molds, materials and construction methods that enhance the strength and reduce the overall weight of the E88 and RP110 in particular.
“We have succeeded in developing much lighter superstructures for our yachts, with hull number one of the Horizon RP110 raised pilothouse superyacht being the first yacht to benefit from this new light-weight superstructure.”
Over the next several months we will be showcasing these two Horizon models as well as the following motoryachts, all of which are searchable in our worldwide directory featuring Horizon yachts for sale. Other models we will be covering include:

Many readers will remember the in-depth Horizon Yachts podcast interview we conducted with Roger Sowerbutts, Horizon USA, a year or two ago, which amplified the massive technological advances taking place inside this yard, as well as projected sales figures for the U.S. and Asian market. A lot has happened since then, but we continue to champion this innovative motoryacht brand in the U.S.
We are are already suggesting to buyers that they make a strong attempt to visit the upcoming Fort Lauderdale Boat Show which will showcase four Horizon models:
