There are many places to start your Croatia yachting journey, but Seget Donji, near Trogir, is home to a new, modern marina. We begin with a short trip across to Maslinica to enjoy the sunset and settle into some local cuisine before our journey begins.
After breakfast, we depart for Hvar Town, with its rich history, interesting culture and exciting nightlife. Hvar Town is also home to beautiful beaches, modern restaurants and more, all connected by a labyrinth of centuries-old cobblestone and marble streets.
Korcula – considered the birthplace of Marco Polo – is a must-see, as is St Mark’s Cathedral. Climb to the top of its bell tower for an amazing view, or simply enjoy wandering the maze of alleyways that crisscross through this beautiful old town.
On day four, head to Croatia’s most remote inhabited island, Lastovo. Here, you’ll find very few tourists. Enjoy lush forests, a dramatic, rocky coastline and the chance to take long, quiet walks with only the birds and splashing sea to pierce the silence.
After the serenity of Lastovo, explore the cafe and bar culture in Vis Town, where you can wander the backstreets to find delicious local restaurants, such as Pojoda in Kut Bay. Vis is also home to some of Croatia’s most exclusive winemakers.
Kick off the day with coffee and a Starogrojski Paprenjok – a traditional local pastry – before exploring a town founded by the Greeks 2,400 years ago. One can’t-miss stop on your tour is Tvrdalj Castle, a beautifully preserved Renaissance-era fortress.
For your last night, head back to Seget Donji and enjoy dinner by the beach. And if you have some time in the morning, disembark and spend the day exploring Trogir. It’s like a mini-Venice, filled with canals, cafes and charming hidden gems.
