From the coastal mansions of Newport, Rhode Island, to the quintessential East Coast ambiance of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket... You can discover two of the country’s most stylish island retreats. One thing is sure, though – New England is home to spectacular architecture, picturesque views, and the very roots of North American yachting.

Day 1 - NEWPORT

The first stop on our yacht charter itinerary is Newport. This place has long been the gateway to New England – especially for yachtsmen. Wealth and power have gravitated to this seaside town for over a century, making it a hub for high society.

Visit the summer homes of America’s marquis industrialists, spend an afternoon strolling the world-famous Cliff Walk, and enjoy the natural beauty of the Newport shoreline as it meets the architectural history of the gilded age and all the fantastic Newport mansions.

End your stroll at one of the city’s beloved waterfront bars and enjoy a drink at sunset. There is a reason why Newport is first on many New England charter itineraries, and stopping for a moment to appreciate this place will help you witness its true beauty. You can also dine at a historic restaurant on Thames Street or visit the Bannister’s Wharf for a delicious treat.

Day 2 - MARTHA’S VINEYARD

Set a compass for the exclusive summer destination of Martha’s Vineyard, known for its beaches, boardwalk, and quaint enclaves. Bike the paths along its wild coastline or step ashore at Edgartown for a clambake – a true island tradition. You can also browse the shops, explore sensational real estate and try the freshest fish you’ll ever taste.

Besides yacht charter guests, it’s easy to see celebrities here. Martha’s Vineyard is where many U.S. presidents go on vacations and a hotspot for some of the world’s finest luxury yacht masterpieces.

Day 3 - NANTUCKET

The crescent-shaped form of Nantucket island made this place famous for its grand cedar-shingled homes, beautiful restaurants, antique shops, and many art galleries. The best way to explore the island’s relaxed, winding roads is by bicycle. Enjoy its vast beaches and ocean waters in summer, and in fall, take romantic pictures at one of its many lighthouses while the leaves change and the breeze cools.

Cruise through the Nantucket Sound, try fresh seafood near the waterfront, see the Brant Point lighthouse and Hadwen House, or learn surfing on the beach. There is a reason why Nantucket is known as the whaling capital of the world. The fantastic street scene, plenty of art galleries, vast sandy beaches, and great nightlife options make this place a buzzing summer destination.

Day 4 - PROVINCETOWN

Located at the northernmost point on Cape Cod, Provincetown is edged by beaches that disappear into the sea. Discover the outer cape by bicycle, or explore the rich offerings of this good fishing village and artistic community. Provincetown and its surrounding areas offer opportunities to explore vast stretches of dunes, forests, beaches, and more.

The scenic beauty of Provincetown can also be seen as you leisurely breakfast in a waterfront restaurant on Cape Cod, exploring the place before you set sail to your new destination, which is the town of Plymouth.

Day 5 - PLYMOUTH

Plymouth is home to cranberry farms, beautiful nature walks, and more, and it’s where you’ll find Plymouth Rock. This landmark is where the Mayflower came ashore 400 years ago, bringing English pilgrims who helped shape the nation we know today.

Plymouth boasts exceptional whale watching, dining, shopping, and cultural activities in a quaint New England setting, much of it nestled along the shore. This is also known as the birthplace of modern America and a place with rich maritime history. In the 19th century, Plymouth was also the center of rope-making, fishing, and shipping and is an equally active port today.

Day 6 - BOSTON

With hundreds of attractions, Boston is an ideal stop on any yachting trip through New England. Boston Harbor boasts 40 miles of continuous waterfront, perfect for strolling, jogging, and cycling. Revered for its food, sports, culture, and history, Boston is home to the USS Constitution Museum, the New Bedford Whaling Museum, New England Aquarium, beautiful boutiques, and authentic bakeries.
