Christopher “Kit” Denison founded Denison Yachts in 1983, manufacturing in a Dania Beach, FL., facility. His father, Frank Denison, was founder of Broward Marine (now Broward Yachts). While Denison Yachts are no longer in production, they were constructed in aluminum combined with advanced technology for increased speeds. Denison pioneered the use of Kamewa Jet Drives and Arneson Surface Drives in the United States and quickly became a leader in yachts over 100 feet that could attain 30-plus knots. Original hull designs came from Joe Langlois, and innovative production techniques continued with Carl Bischoff and Ann Denison in charge of creative interior and space planning. Models included motoryachts, express sport yachts, and motoryachts with raised pilothouse and flybridge.
