Riva Yachts

A member of the Ferretti Group since 2000, Riva Yachts was founded in 1842 in the small northern Italian town of Sarnico on the banks of Lake d’Iseo. A family affair still to this day, the legacy is carried on by Carlo Riva at their facilities in Sarnico and a newer facility in La Spezia to produce the yachts over 65 feet. With roots in transportation vessels, over the years Riva has moved into motorboats, speedboats, and yachts with a reputation for timeless elegance, status, and perfection matched by exquisite attention to detail.

Riva’s modern and contemporary exterior looks make them instantly recognizable, and interior designs sport colors produced exclusively for this luxury yacht builder. The expression of skilled Italian style and artisanship is witnessed in the furnishings and accessories that make Rivas icons of luxury. Twenty-four coats are utilized to paint the wooden parts, one after another, according to Carlo’s original formula to optimize the wood’s high polish and resistance to wear and tear. In addition, cutting-edge technology and innovation complement the timeless classic character of a Riva.

Riva Yachts models range from the 27-foot runabout/tender Riva Iseo to the 115-foot Athena. Models in between include the 44-foot Rivarama, 52-foot Riva Rivale, SportRiva 56, Riva open 63 Vertigo, Riva 68 Ego Super, Riva 75 Venere Super, Riva 85 Opera Singer, Riva 86 Domino, and Riva 92 Duchessa. No stranger to exploration, Riva has partnered in the past with Gucci to reinterpret the 33-foot Aquariva.

A new flagship in the open line, showcasing racy exteriors and a strong personality, the Riva 63 Virtus is a sporty yacht designed for maximum guest comfort and sociability. Described as a “super charmer,” the Riva 85 Opera Super features the innovative designs of Mauro Micheli and Officina Italiana Design, with an innovative flybridge, sunbed at the bow, and extra-large window added to the hull windows . The new Riva 86 Domino offers large living spaces both inside and out, accommodating long cruises and pleasant daily life on board, achieving max speeds of 38 knots and a cruise speed of 34 knots.

The 92 Duchessa features a large windscreen providing commanding vistas from the pilot station and large windows on the upper deck allows maximum light inside. With a private entrance from the main deck, the owner’s cabin is lit by two, large windows on both sides and portholes on each end. The semi-custom Riva 115 Athena allows owners to provide input with Officina Italiana Design on their interior layout and design. The luxury yacht features a skylounge on the flybridge that is closed off by two large windows for 360-degree views, accommodating up to 10 people. This space can also be redesigned as an additional cabin.
