“Billed as “the yacht for yachtsmen,” Turkey-based Vicem Yachts was founded in 1991 by Turkish businessman Sebahattin Hafizoglu who was passionate about re-envisioning the classical schooners of Bosporus (Turkish Gulets) for modern, luxury minded times using Cold Molded wood and the latest epoxy techniques. Having launched over 150 yachts in the last 20 years, Vicem is a large and respected manufacturer of classic luxury motor yachts in their three Turkish facilities. Vicem is noted for their cutting edge design practices, exquisite quality, hand craftmanship, total customization, timeless design, and elegance.
Vicem’s Vintage Line of classic and flybridge luxury motoryachts includes three categories: the Classic, the Cruiser, and the Bahama Bay. Launched in 1991, the Vicem Classic series (ranging from 52 feet to 75 feet) features “down-East” styling that performs even in the toughest seas yet remains pleasing to the eye. The Vicem Cruiser Series (Vicem Cruiser 78 and Vicem Cruiser 92) has taken style, luxury, and spaciousness to the next level offering higher volumes and longer ranges. With low maintenance exteriors, the Vicem Bahama Bay series (ranging from 52 feet to 58 feet) is exclusively designed around Volvo’s IPS System, offering fingertip control, fuel efficiency, flexibility, and noise control.
Launching three vessels in 2012, the Vicem Vulcan Line represents a bold entry into the megayacht world with the Vicem Vulcan Line 32 M RPH, the Vicem Vulcan Line 35 M Tri-Deck, and the Vicem Vulcan Line 46 M. The design team has included Dutch Naval Architect Frank Mulder and the interior design firms of Art-Line Interiors, Wetzels Brown Partners, and Ken Freivokh.”
