New HD Video: Bac O Booc, Oceanfast 87' Motoryacht for Sale

Our latest HD video walkthrough highlights custom-built BAC O BOOC, a 2000 Oceanfast 87 motoryacht, featuring 4 staterooms, a 5’6” draft and 24′ beam.

Having undergone a major, seven-month refit in 2010 including a complete paint job, BAC O BOOC has been extremely well maintained. Powered by twin MTU 12V183TE93s with W5s completed in 2012, she was built to the standards of a much larger vessel which make her a natural for hosting family, friends and business associates. Ample natural light from panoramic windows, a luxurious enclosed pilothouse and generous lounge and entertaining areas make BAC O BOOC an attractive seagoing choice.

Intro to 87 Oceanfast BAC O BOOC | :00

Built in 2000 with a major refit in 2010, Oceanfast’s BAC O BOOC luxury pilothouse motoryacht measures 87’ with a 24’ beam and optimum Caribbean/Bahamas’ shallow cruising draft of 5’6”. Her GRP hull and house received new paint in her 2010 refit, and she is now illuminated by 14 underwater lights and LED lights throughout. Exterior styling reflected in her high freeboard and round salon windows are the design work of Oceanfast. She was a custom build for the owners of Oceanfast hence utmost quality and detailing can be found throughout.

Main Deck Aft | :43

Come onto the main deck aft, and you’ll find a shady spot to dine, relax and entertain thanks to a beautifully curved settee with table and two chairs that seat ten comfortably. New, wider teak replaced worn decking in the 2010 refit.

Bridge Deck with Enclosed Pilothouse | :56

The aft bridge deck is spacious with flexible seating and a large davit for a tender, while plush forward sunbeds beckon sun-worshippers. The enclosed pilothouse is an experience all to its own in BAC O BOOC with its various seating options that include an aft settee and forward-facing raised bench. The captain and companions will enjoy panoramic views and great visibility of the sea or ports of call—almost 360 degrees!

Main Salon | 1:56

Here again in the full-beam main salon BAC O BOOC wows us with large, panoramic, rounded windows that complement her updated, tone-on-tone 2010 interiors (original interiors by Sam Sorgiovann) and semi-circular seating. A round, mirrored ceiling creates even more lightness and airiness. A 42” Viewsonic LCD flat screen television divides the living and dining area.

Dining Area and Galley | 2:12

Note the uniquely configured dining arrangement with two circular tables that open to seat ten for dinner in comfortable seats or close for an extension of the main salon. Galley, pantry and utility spaces are more than generous with copious amounts of storage. Appliances include a five-plate Miele range, oven, grill, deep fryer, microwave and Asko dishwasher. Challenges in the 2010 refit necessitated a search to find the two, oversized, stainless steel Cospolich modular refrigerators/freezers that become a centerpiece of the galley.

Sleeping Quarters | 2:56

Four stateroom suites accommodate ten guests in a master, double and two, twin cabins. A crew of three or four is accommodated in two cabins aft—a double and twin bunks.

Engine Room | 4:02

BAC O BOOC has been very well maintained over the years. Her twin 1145 HP 12V183TE93 MTUs had their most recent 1,000-hour check in December of 2012, and the exhaust was upgraded. W5 maintenance was completed in 2010, and new ultra-silencer Soundown generator mounts were installed. She cruises at 13 knots and reaches maximum speeds of 18 knots. In the 2010 refit, the A/C system was inspected and reworked and included installation of a new (third) five-ton water chiller. Her onboard systems were completely overhauled as well.

Transom | 4:15

BAC O BOOC’S large aft swim platform provides a launching point for adventures in the water. Her twin staircases port and starboard welcome a new owner onboard for new adventures.
