UK-based luxury motoryacht builder Princess Yachts International has recently made some significant announcements. Although not in 26 North Yachts Top 10 Builders List, we have been following their activities with interest. In fact, we recently reviewed the Princess 88, the Princess 35M and the Princess 40M. In addition, last year we provided a comparison between the Riva 68 and the Princess 72. Soon we’ll be covering Princess’ eagerly anticipated S Class with the unveiling of the Princess S72 sportsbridge in 2014.
In the meantime, Princess has been eagerly planning their display for the upcoming London Boat Show Jan. 4 – 12, 2014. They’ll triple-debut the new motoryacht Princess 88, the new V48 Open sports yacht and the Princess 43 in the UK. The London display will also include the Princess 72 flybridge motoryacht and the 82 flybridge motoryacht in addition to sports yachts 57 feet and under.
For the Düsseldorf show from Jan. 18 – 26, 2014, Princess will show nine models from their expanding motoryacht portfolio, including the debut of the new Princess 82 motoryacht with its sleek, dynamic exterior and highly refined interior. Performance and efficiency are enhanced with the resin-infused, deep-V hull. Extended window lines create a sporty, yet sophisticated look and expansive views from the saloon. Exterior spaces provide for cockpit dining, foredeck lounging, sunbathing and flybridge with more dining areas, seating and more sunning (enhanced by a conveniently located wet bar).

In other news, Princess Yachts recently launched Hull #3 of the Princess 40M at its historic South Yard site. The Superyacht Princess 40M is the largest composite motoryacht ever built in Britain, snagging a World Superyacht Award in 2012 with the IMPERIAL PRINCESS. In the Princess M Class range, Princess has successfully combined the latest technology with superior performance and luxury surroundings. This customizable range is expanding in 2014 to include the new 35-meter (Princess 35M), a semi-custom motoryacht boasting comfortable cruising at a multitude of varying speeds with long range and excellent efficiency. The Princess M CLASS now includes the Princess 32M yacht, the new superyacht Princess 35M and the Princess 40M, making a strong mark in the 100-foot-plus market.
