Princess 35M Unveiled as Contract for First Hull Inked

While 26 North won’t be boarding this vessel over the next year, we do hope to explore the new Princess 35M in 2015. At 115 feet, this semi-custom beauty is nicely positioned between UK-based Princess’ M Class 40M and 32M.

Bernard Olesinski Limited and Princess Yachts’ team have combined forces on interior design, exterior design and naval architecture. Look for similar M Class features such as the latest technical advancements, sliding saloon doors and folding bulwark doors. She’ll also boast an impressive long range and efficiency thanks to a few engine options, including Twin MTU 16V M94 (2 X 2640mhp) for max speeds of up to 27 knots. Her beam will span 23 feet, and she’ll draw approximately 6 feet, 6 inches.

The new Princess 35M will accommodate up to six crew, and accommodation layouts for owners (including a full-beam master on the main deck) and guests can vary up to 10. All on board will enjoy a spacious flybridge in the raised pilot house, many seating and lounging options, and the beach club in the aft cockpit and transom area. Full height windows in the vast saloon let in plenty of light and airiness, and hydraulically operated balconies extend the experience port and starboard.

Princess Yachts recently announced economic development government funding to build a shed solely dedicated to megayacht construction. New M Class Director Richard Lambert seems to be aggressively moving forward by offering this new in-between 35M for those who find the 32M too small and the 40M too large. In fact, her owner is a loyal Princess owner who wants to move up.
