Barrett Reed Smith moved to South Florida from Madison, Mississippi spending much of his early life boating and fishing the Ross Barnett Reservoir or the Gulf of Mexico. With his deep Southern roots, love of the outdoors, and passion for fishing, Barrett spent much of his youth on the BASS tournament trail with his Pro and Semipro family members.
He studied Hospitality Management at University of Mississippi, leading to roles in both the restaurant and convention services industries. After serving several years as the Promotions and Special Events Manager for the MS Band of Choctaw Indians’ 3 Casino and Resort operations (Golden Moon, Silver Star and Bok Homa Casinos), Barrett and his wife, Amy (along with their 3 daughters), moved to Florida to take advantage of career opportunities for her and his chance to pursue a dream in the Yachting industry.
In his free time, Barrett enjoys boating, fishing, golfing, and teaching his daughters about the beauty and conservation of the outdoors.
