Creative Director

Originally from Marin County in the San Francisco Bay Area, Rob Goodman found his creative footing through a deep love of storytelling. That passion first emerged in high school with a camera in hand and truly took shape at UC Davis, where video editing and producing became his primary focus.

A lifelong surfer, former competitive swimmer, and water polo player, Rob’s connection to the water has always influenced his creative instincts, shaping how he approaches stories with depth, rhythm, and flow. That same energy carried into his early career, where he got his start at Degree33 Surfboards in San Diego as Media Coordinator. There, he helped grow the company into one of the largest surfboard brands in the country, developing content that spoke directly to its loyal and fast growing audience.

From there, Rob transitioned into freelance work, building a career that spanned photography, video production, editing, brand consulting, and digital strategy. Along the way, he partnered with both national brands and local startups, always bringing the same goal to the table: tell better stories, and help good ideas break through.

That creative philosophy is what eventually led Rob to 26 North Yachts, where he now serves as Creative Director. In this role, he leads content development and brand storytelling, digging deep to find narratives that resonate with audiences and reflect the heart of the company. Whether it’s brainstorming campaigns that challenge industry expectations or finding a more human way to tell a luxury brand’s story, Rob thrives in spaces where creativity meets clarity.

What drives him is simple: helping people bring their business dreams to life, and doing it with originality, empathy, and a sharp creative eye.
