NEW LISTING: Just when we thought this month couldn’t get any more exciting, the 1999 91′ Palmer Johnson NIRVANA hit the market at an asking price of $1.9 million. Right now she’s in San Juan, PR and will be making her way to Fort Lauderdale in December.

“Nirvana”, the word, not the iconic grunge band, is defined as the “state of perfect happiness” – and while we can’t guarantee pure bliss (who can?), we can promise that this Palmer Johnson will help move things in that direction. How can we be so confident? First, NIRVANA’s interior is exceedingly well-done – sophisticated yet warm, with a blend of Cuban mahogany, top-grade granite, and fabrics that are borderline indulgent. But she doesn’t just look pretty. Her Ray Hunt-designed deep V aluminum hull provides serious peace-of-mind in rough waters. She cruises at 20 knots, driven by powerful twin 2000hp MTU engines.

And we haven’t even gotten to the most interesting part. This Wisconsin-built four stateroom yacht boasts one feature not seen on 99% of yachts in existence – she’s completely wheelchair accessible. Among other modifications, there’s an elevator to the flybridge, and an interior one to the staterooms. Wow. The cockpit was converted to an aft deck, which will be great news for some, and perhaps less great news for fishing & diving enthusiasts. And that’s okay. For some, NIRVANA will be just perfect.
