Blog | Jackie Chan’s New Luxury Motor Yacht Seriously Kicks Butt!

Jackie Chan’s Kung Fu skills on and off the screen, make him practically a superhero, so it is no wonder, he owns a superyacht! The ultra-luxurious motor yacht recently purchased by the high-kicking superstar packs quite a punch!

The 125 foot superyacht is one of two that were custom built by Chinese manufacturer Ruiying Yachts. Along with a helipad and sauna, the yacht purchased by the 63-year-old multi-millionaire action star sports three decks and a pair of 1,900hp diesel engines, and includes a karaoke entertainment room, movie theatre, hot tub and of course a gym to keep Chan, and presumebly his guests, happy and in tip-top shape while cruising along.

Ruiying has not disclosed what the beloved star paid for the yacht, nor who purchased the other of the pair. In an effort to maintain Chan’s safety and privacy, the exact configuration of the yacht hasn’t been revealed, but photographs of the basic interior design reveal that it has been crafted for the ultimate in comfort and luxury.

Yacht Harbour magazine has revealed that we do know that the spacious living quarters “feature sleek wooden wall cladding and flooring,” and in the kitchen, “there are all of the appliances needed to rustle up a mouth-watering feast. On the business front, there is a cozy but well-equipped meeting room, and for less pressing matters, there is a roomy sundeck on the roof with space for a bar and dining area.”

The glamorous yacht was handed over to the martial arts movie star during an opulent ceremony in the city of Huludao, with many politicians, bank officials and cinema stars present. Mr. Chan was given a gold key to the superyacht, and christened her in the traditional method of smashing a Champaign bottle against her hull.
