BACCHUS 146' 2004 Trinity Yachts
In Roman mythology, “Bacchus” is the god of wine & agriculture, and the son of Jupiter - ancient Rome’s “king of gods”. In the present day, “Bacchus” is a comprehensively-refitted 2004 146’ Trinity with the interior volume of a 50-meter vessel, and an enviable charter history. She is, without resorting to hyperbole, a tri-deck motor yacht befitting of her lofty name.
Bacchus’s 2015/2016 refit was a transformative one. Her updated interior, conceived of by noted designer Ari Loar, was refreshed and remade to incorporate the finest furnishings & fabrics available. The yacht’s exterior was also modified, most notably with a four-foot swim platform extension, masterfully outfitted with a shower & swim stairs. While it’s nearly impossible to now imagine Bacchus without this extension, it was, in fact, a relatively recent addition.
The refit also saw the build out of the sun deck - which very well might be the crown jewel of this yacht’s exterior. Putting aside the sundeck’s impossibly inviting jacuzzi and perfectly-proportioned sidebar - afternoon mint julips, anyone? - it is this deck’s teak work that is, perhaps, most impressive. While it’s true that teak decking is highly functional, there’s no reason it can’t be a work of art in its own right. “Bacchus” proves precisely that.
We’d say that the yacht’s full-beam on-deck master suite is fit for a king - but in the case of “Bacchus”, perhaps fit for a Roman god would be more appropriate. For lack of a better word, it’s “huge” and, like the rest of this Trinity, well-laid out and gorgeously-appointed. So too are Bacchus’s four guest staterooms (two of which could easily pass for the Master on comparably-sized vessels). The yacht sleeps 12 in total.
Trinity Shipyard did not build “Bacchus” with the intention of having her simply go from port to port. Many yachts, particularly in this class, are right at home in a place like the Yacht Club de Monaco - but are they equally at home among the cays & beaches that dot the Exumas? Bacchus certainly is. With her low 7’ 9” draft and top speed of 20 knots, she is able to explore many of our planet’s most desirable locales - and get there more quickly - than most of the yachts one would compare her to.
“Bacchus” enters the market as a noteworthy, gorgeously-constructed and painstakingly-maintained tri-deck motor yacht - and she should be seen as soon as possible.

Overview:
Boarding onto the AFT DECK of Bacchus, you’re greeted with a spacious and airy layout. You will almost certainly be overcome by a deep sense of serenity as you sit with your guests at the elegant al fresco dining area, suitable for 10 guests, that is the centerpiece of this deck. Adjacent to the dining area is a wet bar with a fridge and icemaker, ensuring that drinks are in your hand nearly as quickly as they are prepared. Port and starboard stairs lead you down to the extended swim platform, which is equipped with a freshwater shower with hot & cold water.
Moving forward through sliding doors into the MAIN SALON FOYER you are welcomed with the soft harmony of the PramBerger Legacy Series Piano. Spacious, elegant and perfectly complemented by the cherry millwork - that's the only way to describe the main salon and its furnishings. The salon features a sofa and four chairs, a game table, privacy blinds, and a fully equipped entertainment center with 60” Samsung Apple TV with individual satellite receiver, surround sound, Kaleidescape and iPod docking station.
Forward of the Main Salon is the FORMAL DINING for 10 guests. The two elegant chandeliers hanging above this area give off a warm, reassuring light - just perfect for an intimate dinner with family & friends. While dining, you're graced by the sounds of the Main Foyer Piano.
Continuing forward to starboard, you will find the full beam ON DECK MASTER with a walk-around king size bed, gorgeous African Cherry woodwork throughout, ample drawer space, a desk, and a sofa. The 42” Plasma TV is hidden behind artwork when not in use. There are two separate entrances to the walkthrough en-suite his-and-hers bathroom. "His" is to port, and features a generous shower and private head locker. "Hers" is to starboard, with a Jacuzzi tub, dresser, private head and bidet locker. Each side has a walk-in closet.
Down a set of curved stairs, you walk into the lower foyer with four GUEST STATEROOMS:
Port and Aft, one will find a guest suite with a walk-around king-size bed, desk with chair, drawers, and hanging closet. The en-suite includes a Jacuzzi tub with an overhead shower, twin sinks, and a head. The entertainment system features a 32” TV with Kaleidescape and iPad docking station.

Forward to Starboard, one will find the yacht’s fifth stateroom: a guest suite with twin beds with two Pullman berths that can accommodate up to 4 guests. The en-suite boasts a large stall shower with corner seat, sink, and head. The entertainment system features 22” TV with Kaleidescape and iPad docking station.
The SKYLOUNGE on the bridge deck is the perfect entertainment and relaxation area. It features a full service bar, 24” TV, four bar stools, back-lit onyx counters, wine storage for 180 bottles, game table, L-shaped sofa with club chairs and an exquisite world map mural on the ceiling. The day head is forward on the starboard side.
The BRIDGE DECK AFT is accessed by sliding doors from the Skylounge and features protected and shaded seating for up to 18 guests at three tables with exquisite inlaid designs. In close proximity is a 50” Plasma TV with an individual satellite receiver. Aft of the dining table one will fnd two lounge areas with high/low tables.
The expansive SUN DECK includes an 8-person Jacuzzi forward with wrap-around padded bench seats, a day head, and open deck area with teak chaise lounge chairs, plus optional shades. A full wet bar with fridge and icemaker provides all the tools one will need for a lively cocktail hour.
