Sold!Sea Toy42' 2003 Maxum

I'm delighted to offer this beautiful Maxum 4200 which has been carefully maintained by the most amazing retired NASA astronaut and Shuttle Commander. You'll find extensive articles and interviews of this man online and it's evident that someone of his caliber has seen to the care of Sea Toy. Sea Toy spent most of her life on a lift in the Annapolis area, with only the last few years in Solomons, Maryland - the brackish water of the Chesapeake has only about 1/3 of the salt content of coastal and southern harbors.

The Maxum 4200 SCR is a proven winner produced from 2002-2006. With a 14' beam, Sea Toy gives you a lot of room and reduces the sea action for your seasick prone guests. Tall owners and guests have plenty of headroom in the 6'6" cabin and fully enclosed second cabin sports a solid wall and door - unlike the open 2nd berth of the Sea Ray or Cruisers - that gives your guests or kids complete privacy. Beautiful tiger maple finish throughout is in like-new condition and is brighter than the cherry finishes on competitor boats. The galley is efficiently and conveniently laid out so that you can move about as you're making a meal but nothing is in the way when you're not.

The high ceiling extends to the helm and cockpit affording high visibility and enclosures are bright and in great shape, giving you plenty of protection from the wind and rain. For kicks on the nice days, pull the bimini and show off the "floating hardtop" that none of your friends have. Good side walks take you up to the large foredeck with plenty of room for people to catch the sun, sunsets or fireworks.

The large extended swim platform would easily accommodate a dinghy or make easy boarding for kids, dogs or older guests. The aft seating section lifts hydraulically to give you massive entrance into the engine room, with plenty of elbow room and visibility to see all aspects of the engine compartment.
