Hull

Deep-V bottom express cruiser with a hydraulically extended swim platform, trunk, and passarella boarding ramp the transom, heavily flared bow, and a large cockpit. There are transom port and starboard side access doors. The swim platform and cockpit have teak decking.

The hull is constructed of alternating layers of hand laid fiberglass (foam cored stringers and bonded bulkheads) with four main longitudinal stringers running fore and aft on the inside of the hull which are glassed in place. Additionally, the bulkheads are glassed/bonded to the inside of the hull and main stringers which together create a grid like system of reinforcement for the hull. The stringers and bulkheads members create a composite system of reinforcement of the hull for greater overall structural integrity.

Deck and Exterior

The decks on the Mochi Craft are teak overlaying fiberglass foam cored decks. The hull to deck joint is of the overlap type. The joint is compound bedded and riveted together (stainless-steel). Other deck features include:

tCockpit

The cockpit is quite large with port and starboard side transom doors, a wet bar on starboard forward, stainless-steel slider and window to the salon, aft bench seat, forward on port aft facing seats on the crew quarters hatch, teak decking, sunshade, and access hatch to the engine space. The wet bar has a sink, ice maker, and the battery switches and the bow thruster circuit breaker located inside the small locker. The original pedestal table has been removed. Other features include:

tThe Mochi 51’ Dolphin has double cabin layout with a convertible dinette in the main salon, to port and aft of the helm, the crew quarters on port aft accessed via the hatch in the cockpit, and three Tecma heads. The interior décor has white headliners, Walnut cabinetry, and teak and holly laminate flooring.

tEntering the pilot salon to starboard are built in storage cabinet that that sit below the level of the windows. Of note in this area is:

• Electrically actuated Samsung 19" flat screen TV that lifts up from cabinet top surface

tOpposite to port is the u-shaped dinette that features:
