"The Cranchi boasts excellent mileage (about 30 percent more fuel efficiency than a similar-sized boat powered by conventional inboards), brisk acceleration, a quiet ride, and easy maneuvering thanks to the joystick installed at the helm. The helm is interesting too, as it’s set on centerline and features two slick bucket seats." ~ Boats.com

Cranchi Yachts

t"The history of Cranchi Yachts is inextricably linked to Lake Como. In fact, it was on the shore of the lake that Giovanni Cranchi opened his first workshop in San Giovanni di Bellagio in 1866. The official founding of his artisan business came a few years later in 1870, the year the company was registered to build wooden boats. Cars were not yet on the road, but the first Cranchi boats were already taking to the water, beginning a journey that would continue across the world’s seas to this day.

tA long and fascinating journey takes us from the first wooden boats built in Giovanni Cranchi’s workshop at the end of the 19th century to the modern yachts built using composite materials and cutting-edge technology in the shipyard’s factories today.

tThe baton has been passed down in the family for several generations. Truly unique on the international scene, the shipyard has carried out its activities independently under the management of the Cranchi family since 1870, and they still own the company today, together with the Monzino family who joined in 1970.

tNot far from Lake Como, the two Cranchi Yachts plants are part of a highly automated production system that is universally recognised as a benchmark for the nautical sector. Industrial activities take place in healthy environments, where humidity and temperature are kept under control to optimise working conditions and the structural performance of the products and to guarantee the quality and sustainability of the production cycle." ~ Cranchi Yachts

Design

t"Creative, eclectic, enthusiastic. Christian Grande earned credibility in the nautical world from a very young age and soon joined the shortlist of the world’s leading names in yacht design. Christian Grande’s talent, which goes beyond designing elegant lines, shines as he builds on the concepts and hull and volume studies developed by the Cranchi Research Development Department. Cranchi Yachts asks Grande to envision the perfect yachting experience and create a world where the Cranchi customer feels perfectly satisfied.

tYou need to be able to see things from several different vantage points, to see the big picture while also addressing the finest details with care. You have to impress and surprise without necessarily looking for the wow effect: people who choose Cranchi are experienced and value-conscious; they are looking for style that is refined and not just trendy. ~ Cranchi Yachts
