MAGNOLIA ONE’s neoclassical design inspired by the old trawlers, sporting exterior lines and naval architecture by Taka Yacht Design, MAGNOLIA ONE exudes old-world charm yet is replete with all the modern features one would expect. The vessel was forged from laminated Acajou mahogany and pairs a dark green hull with contrasting wooden accents.
MAGNOLIA ONE is built using cold-molded techniques. Acajou mahogany is used with epoxy resin and e-glass sheathing. Her keel is ONE PIECE laminated iroko skeg keel and the frames are laminated iroko. It is one the most durable method of building the wooden hull that requires basically no maintenance in the life of the yacht. Her hull has got 30mm , first layer of Iroko strip plank plus 3 layers of 4mm Khaya ( Acajou) veneers laminated in different angles to give robust hull form. Frames are lam.
