“SIENNA” is an 87’ Doggersbank Superyacht with exterior and custom interior design by Vripack, and built by Kuipers Woudsend Shipyard in the Netherlands and delivered in 1986. The superyacht accommodates up to eight (8) guests on board, and has crew accommodations for three (3) crew members including the captain. Her twin MAN diesel engines provide for a cruise speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 13 knots. She carries 1,200 gallons of water and 6,880 gallons of fuel.

In 2012 she received a major refit that involved the qualified team at Vripack. The extensive refit took place in San Diego, California and included an award winning, custom interior that was designed, built, and installed by the original architect studio Vripack. In 2023 she further benefited from significant updates including Main Engine Rebuilds and New Air Conditioning Chillers. (See updates below)

Kuipers Woudsend Shipyard

Based in the Netherlands, Kuipers Woudsend shipyard builds superyachts up to 31m (100ft) and 246 GT. The shipyard’s builds include: 25.61m “BLUE PEARL”, 25.51m “COI COI” 25.6m “GUSTO”, 28.95m “MAVERICK”, and 31.11m “BEOTHUK”.

Vripack

With a book of over 7,600 projects completed, Vripack is a yacht design studio, with extensive naval and architecture experience. Vripack creates designs with great efficiency utilizing an integrated holistic approach that combines navel architecture, engineering, creative, and design.

Doggersbank

Named after a large sandbank in a shallow area of the North Sea. Doggersbank was brought to life in 1968 by Dick Boon, founder of Netherlands based design house Vripack. Since its inception in 1968, the Doggersbank offshore has become a moniker for explorer yachting. With a high bow, large interior volume, ample tankage for long passages, steel hull, and aluminum superstructure, a Doggersbank is a true ambassador for Dutch quality, precision naval architecture, rooted in the Netherlands. Over 750 Doggersbank models have been built to date. The range is available in four models offering owners convenient access to a rapid new build program.

The Pilothouse is located forward of the Galley. Teak cabinetry as well as teak and holly sole.

A bench seat is located portside aft and there is a Stidd chair at the helm with a stainless steel destroyer wheel. Starboard there is a day head and a stairway to the flybridge. There are two weather doors to port and starboard. As part of the Portuguese bridge there are wing stations to port and starboard for a total of four control stations. And, a stairway to starboard leads to guest cabins and crew quarters.

The flybridge is accessed via ladder from the wheelhouse or ladder on the aft deck. It is protected by a large stainless framed Bimini top. The Sun Deck includes a teak dining table with eight chairs, cushioned beach seating to port / starboard, teak sole, and overhead awning for shade. “SIENNA” is equipped with two davits on the Boat Deck.
