“Knot’n Mathers”, a 2017 Sea Ray 40 Sundancer, has just hit the market at an asking price of $560,000. But there are tons of Sundancer 40s for sale, so who cares, right? Wrong. Dead wrong. This particular Sundancer happens to be the cleanest one around WITH an active warranty. Touché!

But super clean & warrantied only goes so far. What really pushes “Knot’n Mathers” over-the-top is the fact that she has basically every Sundancer option you can get. We’re talking about items like a Joystick Docking System, Underwater Lights, an Electric Windlass with chain counter, a Raymarine E125W AUX display, and an Intellian HD Satellite Dome. We’d use the term “fully loaded” but that feels like almost an insult in this case.

Throw in the fact that Knot’n Mathers’ barely-broken-in Cummins QSB6.7 engines have low hours, and this Sundancer starts to feel like a boat that NEEDS to be seen. Thankfully, that can be done, with minimal effort, at Marina Bay in Fort Lauderdale.
