Indulge In Beach Time In Our Bahamas Itinerary

26 North Yachts will soon offer charters and bespoke travel itineraries to The Bahamas, but in the meantime, here are our suggestions for exploring Eleuthera, Harbour Island and the surrounding waters.

Book Now

Day 1 - Spanish Wells

The northernmost point of Eleuthera is a good starting point for your journey. It’s home to great restaurants and plenty of interesting history, as it was once a Puritan settlement. You can also stock up on some of the freshest seafood you’ll ever taste.

Day 2 - Explore Eleuthera

Eleuthera is 110 miles long, so there’s plenty to see and do. Try lunch at the Glass Window Bar & Grill overlooking the famed Glass Window Bridge. You can explore the Queen’s Baths, swim the crystal waters of Casuarina Bay or simply walk the beach.

Day 3 - Pink Sands Beach

A mile east of northern Eleuthera is Harbour Island and its picturesque beaches overflowing with stunning pink sand. The sand’s romantic coloring comes from crushed shells and it’s one of the most beautiful sights in The Bahamas – maybe even the world.

Day 4 - Play on Harbor Island

Harbour Island is small but full of adventure. Its waters make for excellent fishing and the Devil’s Backbone is a renowned diving spot. There are also top resorts with world-class spa services and plenty of great restaurants, from laid-back to high-end.

Day 5 - Twin Coves Beach

For smoother sailing, head down the west side of the archipelago until you reach Bonefish Bay. Twin Coves Beach is right on the other side, about a kilometer away, and is perfect for snorkeling, paddle boarding and enjoying a picnic in the sand.

Day 6 - Cape Eleuthera Resort & Marina

For your last full day, sail down to the marina at Cape Eleuthera and enjoy some time on land. Have a meal at Harbour Pointe or head a few miles south and go for a swim at High Rock, with its crystal clear blue waters and wooden jumping platform.

Day 7 - Lighthouse Beach

Stop at Princess Cays for lunch on your way to the very southern tip of Eleuthera, where you’ll find the Historic Lighthouse and its namesake beach. Lighthouse Beach offers secluded pink sands, crystal clear water and plenty of picture-perfect moments.
