Jono’s love of boating began as a boy on the family 25 foot trawler in his hometown of Auckland, New Zealand. In search of adventure he left home at the age of 18 and eventually landed in South Florida two years later. It was here that his passion for water and travel lead him to embark on a successful professional yachting career, a career that spanned two decades and saw him captain yachts all around the world as large as 140ft.
In early 2021, having achieved everything he wanted as crew, Jono embarked on a new challenge and made the transition to yacht brokerage. His unique and intimate knowledge, of all aspects of the boating industry, helps him to educate and guide his clients in their search for the perfect vessel.
Jono is based in Pompano Beach, FL. He is currently the President and owner of Delta Powerboats Americas, the exclusive US distributor for Delta Powerboats, an acclaimed Swedish yacht builder.
