Josh Potler was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up an avid sports fan who loves seafood, sports, and any type of new experiences he can get wrapped up in. Growing up, summers were always spent down in Annapolis, Maryland, on the Severn River, just north of the United States Naval Academy. His passion for the water, boating, fishing, and harvesting Maryland blue crabs continued until he graduated from Gilman School and headed to New Orleans, Louisiana, for college.
Josh spent four years at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, where he graduated with a business degree from Tulane’s A.B. Freeman School of Business. Looking for new adventures, Josh immediately headed to South Florida to start his career in sales and quickly found success working with some of the largest liquor, beer, and beverage brands in the United States, developing and producing a wide array of their tangible advertising.
Soon after moving to South Beach, Josh rediscovered his passion for the water, but this time it was for the much larger and far more fruitful, Atlantic Ocean. Over the years and after a move to Fort Lauderdale, sportfishing, commercial lobster diving, and hunting the bountiful waterways and land South FL has to offer became an obsession. With a young family thriving in Fort Lauderdale, Josh has continued his successful career in relationships and wholeheartedly understanding his customer’s passions and interests. Always in search of fresh adventure, and in the yachting capital of the world, 26 North Yachts was the next obvious choice. With his many years of experience on the water, constantly working with new personalities, and his genuine appreciation of the experience, you can always bank on finding the best version of yours when working with Josh.
