From March 23-26, the world’s most majestic superyachts will assemble in West Palm Beach for the annual Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS). In celebration of its 40th anniversary, this year’s event theme of “Modern and Contemporary” will inspire yacht enthusiasts like no other maritime showcase.

Hosted by the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County and produced by Informa Markets, PBIBS offers everything you would expect at a top-notch boat show. And this year, organizers created an official mobile app with maps, schedules and more to help you navigate the experience.

VIP pass-holders will love the hospitality at Windward VIP stations and the luxury experience offered at the Superyacht Show at Safe Harbor Rybovich. Enjoy lakeside pavilions, premium bars and gourmet food as you plan your day among the world’s finest motoryachts.

With world-class superyachts and leading marine vendors, you can explore up-and-coming maritime technologies and the latest advancements in yacht design. Countless brokerages will have vessels on display, including yachts by the Ferretti Group, Ocean Alexander, Azmuit, Viking and many more.

Learn

PBIBS will offer a wide array of seminars to help you expand your knowledge as a yachting enthusiast and vessel-owner, including fire and theft prevention, trends in marine crime, and conversations about the Isla Mujeres Shark Initiative. For anglers, there are also talks on fishing, sailfish, inshore fisheries and more.

Eat

Over 100 food vendors have been selected to serve exquisite dishes to meet a range of tastes and dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. Enjoy cuisine from all over the world, street food like tacos and pad thai, wood-fired pizzas, burgers and more, as well as a curated selection of cocktails and wines and your favorite craft beers.

Bricktop’s on Palm Beach Island, across from Flagler Drive, has a casual, contemporary vibe, with American-style eats with daily sushi options and mussels. Parties of 5 or more are encouraged to call the restaurant to book a reservation.

Located at The Breakers Palm Beach, Flagler Steakhouse serves perfect steak and seafood dishes with golf course views, with a well-earned reputation as one of the region’s finest steakhouses.

Tucked away in the Four Seasons is Florie’s by Chef Mauro Colagreco, who boasts 3 Michelin stars. This restaurant showcases his love for gardening through fresh Mediterranean cuisine, seasonal cocktails and sustainable wine. Enjoy views of the live fire show kitchen or the ocean while dining here.

Explore

Palm Beach is known for its quaint charm, but make no mistake: South Florida is abuzz in winter. With endless entertainment options, you can add fine arts or sporting events to round out your agenda at PBIBS.

The boat show coincides with the Palm Beach Modern and Contemporary Art Show. Presented by Art Miami, the VIP event will be Thursday, March 23, and the art show will be open through the weekend at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Your Windward VIP ticket includes a one-day general admission.

Wellington, Florida, is the horse capital of North America during the winter, where world-class hunter-jumpers convene for 11 weeks of competition. March 25, 2023, is Saturday Night Lights, with a $140,000 Captive One Advisors Series Final Classic. Enjoy a dinner buffet and an exciting equestrian event all in one experience!

Pre-season baseball will be well underway during the Palm Beach International Boat Show. Ballpark of the Palm Beaches is home to the Washington Nationals. Tickets range from $20 to $65, and if you are in town for the boat show, you can catch a game any day that week. On Tuesday, the Miami Marlins play the Houston Astros, and on Sunday, the St. Louis Cardinal faceoff against the Houston Astros.

Mark de Clive-Lowe’s latest project, Motherland, has shows on March 23 and 24. The pioneer jazz pianist will showcase his work while the audience experiences a multimedia presentation. Inspired by Japanese mythology and folklore, this work explores the relationship between ancestral connections and future generations.
